Had been on a prolonged hiatus, sorry and I shall apologize!!.Been busy with work lately and have no time to squeeze my blogging into the packed schedule.
Well, Chocolate just reminded me that the blog was DEAD! haha , what a joke. I've not been blogging as I've been on corporate trips and those places or countries I shall say do not provide fast internet access.
About the 16 topics, I shall stop forecasting it for this week and will resume next week as planned.
Today I'm going to share a short story that've been on my head for a long time....
What if someone knocked on your door today and asked, “Could I sell you some misery today? We have all kinds for sale.” Would you buy it? Of course not, but many of us, including me, have bought it from time to time. Negative living doesn’t work for me. I refuse to let my day be ruined by complaining or murmuring. I’m not perfect by any means, but I am determined to be happy. Maybe I have to work on it, but it’s worth it. This I know, “Today is a brand new day. I want it to sparkle with verbal sunshine. Even if my day isn’t what I want it to be I’m going to wear a happy face.” Life is too short to be miserable. I want the celebration of the gift of life to begin in you and me. Nothing causes me to be in the pits like my computer when it’s not working. I get so frustrated. Such was last week. I had to have a new “mouse” so my husband went to the store. Once we had the mouse then the keyboard wouldn’t work. My husband found the cable wasn’t plugged in. I was happy my husband who didn’t know anything about computers figured it out anyway. I asked him how he knew all that. He said, “I prayed and asked God.” Here I was stewing and moaning yet in a span of 20 minutes everything turned out all right. Look at the time I wasted. I wonder if my blood pressure didn’t go up! In the midst of a problem how many of us lose it when in reality it’s not that important to lose our peace. You and I have blessings untold everyday if we would only stop and realize it. With so many blessings how can any of us be unhappy? Even in a crisis we can find something to be thankful for and that changes attitudes. I have to say it again, “We all have more blessings than problems.” So what do we have to lose? Everything! The next time you meet a crisis, stop and remember, “There’s something good here and I’m going to find it and that will overcome the bad.”
Today, I'm going to tap into a little about LOVE but I'm going into much details as we have not covered Happiness yet.
Love...What is Love?
Every individual would have different answers, you may try asking, but let me tell you, you're going through a long winding path and get answers which are long winded.
Short cut..... If you want the wholesome answer try asking you mothers and ask them what really is love?
Love is......
GIVING UNCONDTIONALLY, meaning you give without asking anything back or anything as a repayment from a specific person.
Love comes from the heart itself and within.
Love is a strange thing. It can be the most amazing feeling in the world, or it can really hurt, but in the end love is something most, if not all of us, will face. While there are many different ways to define love and there are many different ways to love someone (even yourself), here is a general guide to loving.
1.Say it. When you say the words "I Love You", they should carry with them the desire to show someone that you love them, not what you simply want to feel. When you say it make sure you really mean it and are willing to do anything for that special person.
2.Empathize. Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Rather than impose your own expectations or attempt to control them, try to understand how they feel, where they come from, and who they are. Realize how they could also love you back just as well.
3.Love unconditionally. If you cannot love another person without attaching stipulations, then it is not love at all, but deep-seated opportunism (one who makes the most of an advantage, often unmindful of others). If your interest is not in the other person as such, but rather in how that person can enhance your experience of life, then it is not unconditional. If you have no intention of improving that person’s life, or allowing that person to be themselves and accepting them as they are, and not who you want them to be, then you are not striving to love them unconditionally.
4.Expect nothing in return. That doesn't mean you should allow someone to mistreat or undervalue you. It means that giving love does not guarantee receiving love. Try loving just for the sake of love. Realize that someone may have a different way of showing his or her love for you, do not expect to be loved back in exactly the same way.
5.Realize it can be lost. If you realize that you can lose the one you love, then you have a greater appreciation of what you have. Think how lucky you are to have someone to love. Don't make an idol of the person you love. This will place them under undue pressure and will likely result in you losing them.
Questions to ponder upon and ask one self.
1) Who am I ? (not physically)
2) What are my goals?
3) What is my purpose?
All these cannot be answered in just a day, but is can be obtained when journeying throught life.
One must be spiritually, mentally and physically 'conjoined' to achieve unlimited happiness as they grow more satisfied with life and do not look out onto other people and would not be jealous of their luxuries. One must look inwards and not outwards. Looking inwards, you will look at your character and yourself; what have you done and so on.

just went through a whirlpool of emotions last night. lets just say it was a very harrowing night with my other half and it left me heartbrokened, confused, angry, miserable and many more emotions. These are the times when i need my best friend the most to talk to and sadly she was back home in malaysia where calling her from here would be useless as well as expensive. but as much as you think of yourself as worthless or not loved, you must remember that at least one person cares about you and needs you. in addition to that, there's at least one person whose constantly thinking about you every second of the day- so dont call yourself worthless, nor say you're despicable and unlovable. back the story; i spent my time thinking over everything with a heavy heart but it dawned to me that i couldnt be angry or unhappy with his decision. it wasnt that he chose this route, but he was left with no choice. this is one of those situations that even though you cant help but feel angry at the situation you're stuck in, but you have to take everything that comes your way. sure its unfair, sure its not meant to be, but think of it rationally, if you feel this way, what if you're in your partner's shoes and have to be the one who breaks the news? what if you had no choice and you were put in the position to break someone's heart along with your own? its not easy on both sides, so dont try choosing.
bottom line: life is unfair, but you have to take it as it goes and try to make the best out of EVERY situation. behind a rotten rusty box lays a chestful of gold. the process of opening it is horrid, but eventually you'll end up with the best things in life. =]

Courage and miscellaneous
Todays been a very great day for me. actually make that wonderfully great =D. I've been able to buy my DVDs and have lunch and an outing together with co-workers. Working our way into steamboats with seafood whilst enjoying the great atmosphere of steam and ambience. Things in my mind 1) korean dramas 2) Long nails, I'm sorta having now 3) Joblessness 4) Global crunch down 5) getting retrenced? 6) Bubblegum?
Lets see, Sandwich would be on a short hiatus as he is busy preparing for huge upcoming event if I am not mistaken, a party or a conference or a camp? So yeah =D. He'll be very buusy for this week but I can reassure you of his presence next week and the following week Insyallah ( gods will). I hope you guys won't miss him that much and on behalf on him I would like to apologize for his absence and while he is absent I would take the greatest opportunity to entertain you guys on behalf of him.
Todays topic that i would share shortly is........Courage
Courage is not defined by what we do, but what we overcome within ourselves. It involves acknowledging our fears but not being deterred from offering something that goes beyond our comfort zone. Courage fuels our motivation to act on something what we care about. It can be compelling, exhilarating and contagious. Not many of us will play a prominent role in national or global affairs, but each person can display courage by standing up for what they believe in, however difficult or unpopular.
Courage, also known asbravery, will, intrepidity, and fortitude, is the ability to confront fear, pain, risk/danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. "Physical courage" is courage in the face of physical pain, hardship, or threat of death, while "moral courage" is the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition, shame, scandal, or discouragement.
Aristotle: Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts.
Winston Churchill: Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.
I actually planned on putting courage the cowardly dogs picture on the blog but later decided not to.

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE! ;)! its a friday, its a holiday, its a SCHOOL HOLIDAY, its a cool day, ITS A GREAT DAY! =D!
so whats everyone's plan to do for today? some of you have a schedule to follow, some have a rough idea of what you're about to do and the rest have the mindset to "go with the flow~" and see what will happen later on. well everyone, my aim for today is to get all of you off your butts and do something productive today!
LADIESSS AND GENTS! lets take one common example: what do you see when you look at yourself in the mirror? =] here's the typical self conversation:
gents: *flex muscles* i'm sexy~ ;) just need a little more weightlifting.. ladies: i'm fat. LOOK AT THOSE FATS!!! OMG I JIGGLE! NEED....TO.....WORK...OUT!!! normal random person: i have nice eyes =]
well ladies and gents! (exception for the normal random person) if you think you should be doing something, i suggest you go for it and do something about it! you have 24 hours in a day and i dont think half an hour or even one hour of your day will upset the osmotic pressure or the earth's temperature right? just a few minutes out of your busy (or relaxed) schedule and hey! you've just did something productive and you're a step or two closer to your goal! =D! sure the results are not instantaneous or that visible yet, but you must remember, a little goes a long way and soon your jaw line will be more visible, your arms tummy and legs are more toned, ladies will look smokingly sexy and the guys will be super hot, and the best of all: you'll feel better about yourself and your self esteem will go through the roof ;) we all should feel comfortable and happy about ourselves, and if a little thing such as laziness is blocking your route to that happiness, its time you start getting off your butts and doing something about yourself and for yourself. =]
there are other instants when you need motivation to start something or continue in your process, whether its a project or assignment to be done, or you're in the middle of finishing your homework. sure its dull, you're about to fall asleep, its a great day to be outside, or the comp/tv is calling for you, but hey, little by little, you're almost done! if you're really tired, stop and walk around a while, grab a drink. THEN COME BACK! =P no point rewardingyourself with a drink or something when you're not about to come back and finish your work. soon, it'll be all over, and you'll give a sigh of relief because you've finally completed it =] and lets just say, i'm proud of you all for completing it =D! nothing's better than a happy sigh of relief at the end of a gruesome project ^^
so everyone... what are you gonna do today? =] is it going to benefit you? are you going to give me a sigh of happiness at the end of the day?
yours, cookie.
Note to Mess with Children
1. The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. 'Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor. A small voice at the back of the room rang out, 'And there's the teacher, she's dead.'
2. The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: 'Take only ONE . God is watching.' Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, 'Take all you want. God is watching the apples.'
3. One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink.. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, 'Why are some of your hairs white, Mom? 'Her mother replied, 'Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.' The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, 'Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?'
4. A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible. The little girl said, 'When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah'.The teacher asked, 'What if Jonah went to hell?' The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him.'

Our 20th!
This here as you can see is the20th post aniversary, I've taken the honourable opportunity to have experienced the immensely joyful 10th post aniversary as well as the 100th click aniversary. How lucky have I been? Too bad the other food groups are not lucky as I have been. I pity them very much. Life is just unfair =D.
Well, lets move on to todays topic.......
Gratitude
Gratitude celebrates our connections with other beings and our capacity to offer mutual support. It is grounded with wisdom that we are neither independant nor self sufficient. Learning to appreciate every single thing that happens as a potential source of insight and growth is one of the key ingredients for a happy life. Saying 'thank you' is a simple expression of gratitude, but it reassures another person that they have the capacity to contribute to our well being. This boost confidence and self-respect, and can continue to inspire them to continue being kind.
For further understanding you may visit this wikipedia link, It gives you the most defined meanings you can ever find....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gratitude
2.Worrying
Worrying Does'nt Reduce Yesterdays Sorrows,But It Empties Todays Strength..So DONT WORRY,BE HAPPY Make Others Happy.
1. Rest before you get tired. 2. Learn to relax at your work. 3. Learn to relax at home. 4. Apply these four good workings habits: a. Clear your desk of all papers except those relating to the immediate problem at hand. b. Do things in the order of their importance. c. When you face a problem, solve it then and there if you have the facts to make a decision. d. Learn to organize, deputize, and supervise. 5. To prevent worry and fatigue, put enthusiasm into your work. 6. Remember, no one was ever killed by lack of sleep. It is worrying about insomnia that does the damage--not the insomnia.
Don't worry, be happy and good luck with your life!
Forgiveness is the capacity to reclaim our peace of mind when something has happened to disturb us. As we go through life, it is inevitable that we are going to hurt one another. As our world becomes more complex and interconnected, the opportunities for conflict increase. When our desires for reconciliation and peace is stronger than our anger, disappointment or pain, then forgiveness offers the opportunity to make a new start. To forgive is to acknowledge that life is in flux. It admits that there is a wider perspective which we may not be able to see for ourselves.
We are ALWAYS GIVEN A CHANCE OR OTHER WORDS, FORGIVEN but WE NEVER or SELDOM FORGIVE .
Forgiveness is not something that we do for other people but for ourselves to get well and to move on.
1. Using online services everyday without any skipping.
2. Losing track of time after making a connection.
3. Going out less and less.
4. Spending less and less time on meals at home or at work, and eating in front of the monitor.
5. Denying spending too much time on the Net.
6. Others complaining of your spending too much time in front of the monitor.
7. Checking on your mailbox too many times a day.
8. Thinking you have the greatest website in the world and dying to give people your URL.
9. Logging onto the Net while already busy at work.
10. Sneaking online when spouse or family members are not at home, with a sense of relief.
p/s Many people around me have this kind of symptoms, eventhough they tried to deny it....Juts a sharing....

Choices
All people have to make them.....
whether good or bad all people have to face them
they could be as simple as thinking of what to eat
Or as hard as life-or-death situations
a choice will change lives of everyone around you
there are 4 types of choices
Command decisions, which can only be made by you, as the "Commander in Chief"; or owner of a company.
Delegated decisions, which may be made by anyone, such as the color of the bike shed, and should be delegated, as the decision must be made but the choice is inconsequential.
Avoided decisions, where the outcome could be so severe that the choice should not be made, as the consequences can not be recovered from if the wrong choice is made.
No-brainer decisions, where the choice is so obvious that only one choice can reasonably be made.
all people must try to make a good choice
so people please make good choices

Another joke
Doctors meeting
A group of psychiatrists were attending a convention. Four of them decided to leave, and walked out together. One said to the other three, "People are always coming to us with their guilt and fears, but we have no one that we can go to when we have problems." The others agreed.
Then one said, "Since we are all professionals, why don't we take some time right now to hear each other out?"
The other three agreed.
The first then confessed, "I have an uncontrollable desire to kill my patients."
The second psychiatrist said, "I love expensive things and so I find ways to cheat my patients out of their money whenever I can so I can buy the things I want."
The third followed with, "I'm involved with selling drugs and often get my patients to sell them for me."
The fourth psychiatrist then confessed, "I know I'm not supposed to, but no matter how hard I try, I can't keep a secret..."

Difference between wife and girl friend
Someone send me this joke, would like to share with all of u!!!!
Wife is a HARIMAU ...............
Girlfriend is HARI HARI MAHU
Wife is like TV, Girlfriend is like Handphone (HP)
At home watch TV, Go out bring HP.
No money, sell TV. Got money change HP.
Sometimes enjoy TV but most of the time play with HP.
TV free for life but HP, if you don't pay, the services will be terminated.
TV is big, bulky and most of the time old. HP is cute, slim, curvy and very portable at any time.
Operational cost for TV is often acceptable but for HP is high and often demanding.
Most Important, TV got remote but HP don't have.
Last but not least.......
TV do not have virus but HP have VIRUS......
Once get it, HABIS LAH.
So better choose TV lah

Small steps to big leaps.
MILESTONE
Oh yeah! I almost forgot, yesterday was a very special day for this blog as it had its 10th post aniversary and also not to forget our 100th click aniversary!. How intriguing is that?
Lets not waste much time and move onto the next topic....
Respect.
Yes. Respect is a ginourmous word.
Respect acknowledges that we have the same basic needs as others, and that other people's experience can be helpful to us. All around us there are people we can respect and learn from, if we have the necessary humility. Respect is something we have to give, it cannot be demanded. How does respect lead to happiness?, some may ask. Well it warms the heart and lifts the spirits and souls. We know intuitively whether we are respected by them.
& always remember.....
Respect is EARNED & NOT GIVEN.
A smile is a language that even a baby understands :)))
101th Post Aniversary guys!! (one hundred [and] one)
Wow very stunning I must say, the 101th visit was made approximately ar 10:33pm on Monday, which is today. The counter was only on number 71this early morning and shot up to about 73 in mid afternoon. I went back onto this blogg just minutes ago just to have found out the counters touched 101. 27 visits within a day!@. Heard that food group! 27 visits!!!!.
Well I just wana wish our blog a happy 101 visit aniversary!. I'll be keeping a watch on the counters once it hits 200 again!.
Contentment has nothing to do with money or other people. Nor does it concern itself with how much we have or how little. Instead, it is about finding a point of stillness inside ourselves which allows us to be quietly happy and be at peace with who we are. Unless we learn to live in the moment, and to accept it as it is, we may never function well or be fully alive.
Many people do not have contentment inside of them. They display exceptional happiness on the outside but a completely different person in the inside. These people are generally not satisfied and constanly wanting more more new things (eg.mobile phones and so on).
There's no picture to describe contentment though I'll just put 1 up....

Patience always wins the game.
Patience gives us flexibility and strength not to be a victim of circumstances. It doesn't make us passive or resigned; rather, it is far more likely to allow us the time to respond in an appropriate way.
With patience, we retain the ability to think clearly. Some people are born patient, others have to work for it, but we can do so by reminding ourselves of the damage that is caused by uncontrolled anger.
Patience is really a learning curve that lays a foundation for a happy life. As the Dalai Lama says, "Many people think that patience is a sign of weakness. I think that is a mistake. It is anger that is a sign of weakness."
Well, today I brought up this topic as many people in this world are usually impatient. They would nag and shout or you might even end up scolded if that person is bad tempered. I shall conclude todays topic:Patience always wins the game.

Hey everyone! how're you all feeling today?! =D!
Before i continure my endless babbling, allow me to introduce myself. i'm cookie! as in your extremely delectable irresistablily yummy chocolate chip cookie which has a versatile taste once bitten by different people! man... i feel like eating myself now.. ahaha! but i shall resist, or this blog post will never reach the public!
Its a sunday everyone! not only are sundays meant for peace, quiet and rest, but it is the first official day of the second term's school holiday!(international schools, dont you worry! you'll be getting your holidays very very soon and it'll be your turn to laugh at us while we struggle to get up early in the morning to begin our school lives once more!) how does it feel young students? =] i'm pretty sure many of you are extremely happy that you can finally get away from school, its exams and not to mention many little dramas that each class is bound to have! I've heard things about students hating their school lives nowadays, poor kids, but this blog isnt made to talk about these things, we're here to talk about other things such as in the great memories in school! many times have these great memories been overlooked by the hatred that we keep in our hearts. so let me list out the things that made me the most happy in school!
Tiny little things that make my school life so great =] 1) my friends! the times when we talk, laugh and do silly antics! sure, i do not have many friends, nor am i always with them (diff class now.. sniff sniff!) but i enjoy and treasure those short mins everyday that i get to see them =] 2) the times in class when lessons are fun! every student has their favourite subject in school and no matter how boring the teacher is, you can still have fun reading your books and learning new things on your own. as long as you know your subject well and you dont bother your friends next to you, you're allowed to do whatever you want! hehe! 3) the times in class when teachers are not teaching. the moments when you bond with your classmates are vital, coz every day may be your last, so enjoy those moments bonding and dont be afraid! its good to experiment with talking to people, who knows, you may help those in dilemmas! a smile is all a sad person needs, so just smile at everyone! 4) when i succeed in making a sad person smile! its never more rewarding than to cheer a friend/acquaintance up when he/she is feeling down. 5) when i see my loved one! likewise, even if your loved one isnt in your class, or there are rules and regulations restricting you from any body contact of any sort (respect the rules kids, even if you think they are stupid, you should always obey them coz the rule keepers dont want to scold you, but you make life extremely difficult for them... please dont burden someone else just for your satisfaction.) you can still talk to your loved ones and it may make your day a lot more brighter =]
ok, i shall stop here for now. as a reader, what are the little things that make you happy in school? whether its a big thing, or a teeney weeney thing, it still makes our student lives much more happier to live in! drop a tag, cause i want to know what you think! ;)
yours; Cookie.
You could be happy too.

Appreciate
it seems that i seem to have topics to type about
Appreciation as taken from Wikipedia is positive emotion or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive.
it's the most simple thing to do to someone when they have done something for you
you can appreciate just about everything like the sun, moon, stars, nature, friends, family, teachers, etc.
you can do it by words, actions, or even small gifts
So get out there and start saying 'i appreciate you' to everybody you are grateful for
Ps: if you dear readers got any suggestions/ideas for posts please email them to camouflaged.ambuyat(at)gmail.com ( replace (at) with @)
remember... no spamming!!!!!

Holidays~~~!!
Tomorrow is Friday and that means it's a day off!.
Welcome to the3in1beverage blogg! hope you enjoy reading our wonderful posts on how 'we' live our daily HAPPY lives. Well I'm going to have my holidays from Saturday till about a week and basically and continue with all my work which ranges from projects to hand written works.
Well, I was not here for the GRAND OPENING of this so called pretigious blog as I was so tired after doing all the editting and html coding myself so I had no time to post anything. I think my two mutual friends did quite a good job in posting. And it was unbelievable 10.30 at night yesterday after I have managed to do the coding. Today, I've gotten a c-box for the blogg so we can interact with our fellow visitors.
Today was a great day. Each day a person gets better and better in any other way. I'm delighted that I have achieved more than enough and I hope and know that tomorrow would even be better. I'll find more interesting stuff to share sooner or later. Well cya, I'm going blogskins hunting again!
